Tests for the developers of a website
Many accessibility problems can be addressed already in the construction of the website, but most errors can be corrected retrospectively. For those who develop websites the following tests are performed in SiteValidator.
- That all pages on the web site are validated according to the definition of a specific document type
- That the same link text isn't used for different destinations
- That all the pages have a title
- That the character encoding is specified in a correct way
- That each page has a correct language code
