Edit images directly in EPIServer
With support from the built-in image editing tool, editors can make changes in the picture before it's published on a site in EPIServer or downloaded for some other purpose. The editor make the changes directly in the browser and the original picture, which is located in ImageVault keeps it's original properties.
The image tool's basic functions
With the basic functions the editor can change the size of the image, convert, rotate, mirror or crop it. It is also possible to create rectangulare image maps.
Filter functions
The image tool also has a number of filter functions. To get a picture with good color depth "auto levels" allows you to automatically adjust brightness and contrast. "Brightness" can be used to get the image darker or lighter and "contrast" increases or decreases the contrast.
"Unsharp mask" makes the image sharper and the possibility to convert the image to grayscale deletes all the color information of the image.
