The Explorer extension for ImageVault is finally here, even though it is still a beta. Administrators -------------------------- The ImageVault Browser requires ImageVault 3.3.2 or higher Make sure that the Web Service used allow anonymous access The ImageVault Browser uses the same access rights as ImageVault does, hence it's important that the users that access ImageVault thru the browser has sufficient access rights. Users -------------------------- Select the correct installation program depending on if you are running a 32 or 64 bit operating system. Install the Explorer plugin by double clicking on setup.exe. After the installation is complete, shutdown all Explorer windows and start a new one. A ImageVault icon should now be available under "Computer" in the Explorer tree. Double click the icon. A dialog asking for the url to the server is shown. Enter the url to your web site. Example: http://myServer Press Ok Enter the username and password you use to logg in to the EPiServer site. Press Ok The albums you have access to in ImageVault should now appear. Use drag and drop to copy or upload images. Right click to get the images in specific conversion formats Use Insert Image in Office applications to insert images into documents.
